Former Australian captain Allan Border has slammed the ICC for not punishing Shahid Afridi enough, following the ball tampering incident in the recent ODI against Australia.
Afridi was caught biting into the ball in an attempt to create an unfair advantage for the Pakistan team in the match on Sunday.
This is not the first time Afridi has been in trouble with the ICC, with the Pakistan one-day captain being involved in two previous incidents.
The all-rounder was suspended for one Test and two ODI's after scuffing the pitch against England in 2005 and then 15 months later was banned for four one-day matches after waving his bat at a spectator in a threatening manner.
Afridi has again been suspended for two matches following the recent incident - ruling the 29-year-old out of Friday's Twenty20 international at the MCG.

Despite the suspension, Border feels the punishment should have been more severe in order to send out a message to anyone trying to cheat in the game.
Speaking on Fox Sports' Inside Cricket show, Border said: "It wasn't enough given that he's been a bit of a serial offender in front of ICC disciplinary committees.
"You've got to send a strong message out that you just don't want this sort of stuff happening on field.
"(Send a warning to players that) you're not going to get away with it, there were 26 cameras at the ground or something like that so yeah, (I think it was) very underdone as far as that penalty goes.
