Mickie James on Monsters in the Morning

TNA's Mickie James and Jeremy Borash were on the Monsters in the Morning show in Orlando (XM 152).

She talked about this being her first country album, Strangers & Angels. The hosts asked her how we can get more people into country music. She said there's a misconception about the music and now it can be a little bit of southern rock with pop too, so people should be open to the crossover that's there. The hosts talked about how that Country Strong movie did poorly at the theaters in its opening weekend because some people get turned off by country music.

They asked about celebrities in TNA. Borash mentioned that Toby Keith shows up once in a while and Snoop Dogg has showed up. They talked about J-Woww from Jersey Shore showing up saying they got exposure on TMZ with it. Then the hosts talked about J-Woww's features, but Jeremy quickly moved off topic.

- They asked Mickie how the other girls treated her. Mickie said they welcomed her with open arms. They all realize that the bigger names that people have, the better it is for the company in terms of exposure.

- Mickie said that there's a mix in the company from TNA originals, to former WWE people and wrestlers from all over the world, which makes it a cool place to work in.

Borash talked about how he and other TNA wrestlers like Jeff Hardy & Beer Money went to Japan last week and how it helps the exposure of the company.

They plugged Impact tapings for the next two nights at Universal in Orlando starting at around 5:30pm with free entry as always. Borash mentioned the Hardy brothers being together at the tapings last night. Mickie mentions they don't really know what they will do on the day of the taping until you get to the building.

- The hosts asked Mickie if she's single. She said yes. Madison Rayne said on the show yesterday she doesn't date wrestlers and Mickie mentioned that you're around many wrestlers all the time, so sometimes stuff happens, but she's been single for a couple of years because she's so busy. Borash mentioned a lot of the guys on the roster have crushes on Mickie.

Mickie plugs the TNA theme song "Hardcore Country." She mentions the song "Don't Apologize" from her Strangers & Angels CD being her favorite. Then she talks about "Are You With Me?" being her first single and "Hollywood Movie Moment" being another favorite on the album. Then they started playing "Are You With Me?" She mentioned Tim McGraw being a favorite artist. She mentioned the songs will be on iTunes again soon. (I should also note the whole CD will be available again on mickiejames.com very soon.)

The hosts plugged the Impact tapings one more time and mentioned their close association with the the TNA brand.

McMahaon defeats Cena

With the aid of a number of WWE Superstars, Mr. McMahon pinned former WWE champion John Cena on this week's edition of RAW.

The WWE Chairman, who set out to prove a point to WrestleMania rival Bret Hart, arranged the match between himself and Cena last week.

However, this would be no ordinary singles match. Perhaps realising the odds were stacked against him, McMahon changed the rules, setting up a Gauntlet-Style bout.

Cena's first hurdle was Russian powerhouse Vladimir Kozlov, followed by current Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre. Cena then had to face Jack Swagger followed by The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry.

Surprisingly, none of these superstars managed to wear down Cena enough for McMahon to pick up the all-important pinfall. It was then that the Chairman decided to change the stipulation to a No Disqualification Match. Enter WWE Champion Batista!

After laying out Mark Henry, The Animal Batista then dealt with high-flyer Kofi Kingston, before The Chairman struck Cena with the ring bell.

With Cena incapacitated, his WrestleMania opponent quickly took advantage and Batista Bombed the exhausted Superstar in the middle of the ring. A cocky McMahon then quickly pinned Cena for the win.
Tension

The tension between Triple H and Sheamus came to a head this week on RAW. The Game had effectively ended The Celtic Warrior's reign as WWE Champion back at last months WWE Elimination Chamber.

And after attacking The Cerebral Assassin last week, The Irishman challenged The Game to a match at WrestleMania.

An irate Triple H welcomed the challenge, insisting that Shemaus has arguably had one of the best first years in WWE history. However, The Game then went on to claim that the Irishman would lose his first ever match at WrestleMania.

After a war of words, the tension between the two hit boiling point as both men unleashed fury on one another, culminating in a brawl that spilled to the outside of the ring.

Also this week on RAW, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase scored a huge victory over Randy Orton in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match.

Orton ambushed the duo before the match got under way, but in the end would need more than a sneak attack to defeat the two.

It was DiBiase who managed to score the pinfall, executing a devastating Dream Street manoeuvre to defeat his former mentor.

The line-up for this year's Money in the Bank Ladder Match is now complete as Evan Bourne defeated William Regal to become the eighth and final entrant in this years WrestleMania showdown.

Less than two weeks before WWE's pay-per-view extravaganza WrestleMania 26, Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will host Monday Night RAW.

Sure to be one of RAW's most controversial special guest hosts, The Rattlesnake returns to his old stomping ground and is scheduled to oversee a contract signing between Mr. McMahon and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart!

Hart Exacts Revenge

After berating the WWE chairman for his actions towards Bret Hart last week, John Cena convinced Mr. McMahon to accept a match with his long-time nemesis at WrestleMania.

On the latest edition of RAW, the chairman of the board admitted paying Batista to screw Bret Hart again, but insisted that he had no involvement with The Animal attacking Cena last week.

McMahon suggested that Batista attacked Cena because Cena eliminated The Animal in the Royal Rumble Match or because, maybe, the powerhouse just doesn't like Cena.

The subject of money was then once again brought up as an angry Cena tore into a somewhat cocky chairman, insisting that all Vince cares about is money.

The fiery WWE superstar went on to strike a chord with fans by claiming that he does what he does in the ring because he loves it, and not because of any financial gain.

Cena then asked McMahon if he would accept a match at WrestleMania against Bret Hart, to which Vince replied with an emphatic YES. But on that note, Hart, who had been banned from the arena, surprisingly showed up, to exact his revenge for last week's events.

However, before Hart could truly pummel his bitter rival Mr. McMahon, the chairman escaped the ring to retreat behind a wall of security.

An irate McMahon then cancelled the WrestleMania match he had agreed to, insisting once again that Bret deserves to be screwed. The statement did not go down well with Hart one bit, as The "Hit Man" went on the rampage, tearing up WWE video equipment, similar to that of circumstances back in Montreal over twenty years ago.
Show Miz

Also this week on RAW, D-Generation X put their differences aside in an effort to retain their Unified Tag Team Titles in a Triple Threat Elimination Match against United States Champion The Miz and Big Show and the Straight Edge Society.

The climax of what turned out to be an enthralling match-up saw Shawn Michaels eliminating Luke Gallows, before setting his sights on the remaining threat, Big Show and Miz.

Michaels hit sweet chin music on the 485-pound Big Show and tagged in partner Triple H. After executing a devastating spine buster on The Miz, Michaels then tagged himself in.

The Game appeared confused, voicing his concern at Michaels' decision, but in a twist, The United States champion threw Michaels into The Cerebral Assassin and then rolled up Michaels for the pin to capture the Unified Tag Team Titles.

Backstage, Big Show and Miz celebrated their title win. The United States Champion Miz claimed that together, the new Unified Tag Team Champions will run the WWE.

Trade

After losing the Unified Tag Team Titles, a frustrated Michaels confronted SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long backstage, demanding to be traded to SmackDown and included in the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match.

Long declined, explaining that the participants were already set. When Triple H then asked why his distraught friend was destroying his career, Michaels told him that, as far as he was concerned, his career was already over.
