Moratti Eyes European Glory

Massimo Moratti is confident Inter Milan can overcome Chelsea in their UEFA Champions League tie.

Jose Mourinho will welcome his former club to Italy for the first leg on 24th February, before the return game at Stamford Bridge on 16th March.

The winners will progress to the quarter-finals and Moratti believes Inter are due a long run in the competition after some disappointing campaigns in recent years.

The Nerazzurri president admits he is already thinking about the clash even though there are some important games coming up in Serie A.

"Now we are concentrating on the Italian league, that is really important, but then there will be the Champions League engagement on 24th February," said Moratti.

"We must focus to make sure we arrive at that date in the best possible way, both mentally and physically.

"Maybe in the last few years we have not been lucky. If we reach the match against Chelsea with this mix of things, I think we will be confident."
