Davies Accuses Clattenburg

Kevin Davies has hit out at referee Mark Clattenburg after he controversially ruled out a winner for the Bolton striker against Fulham.

Davies headed home late on what appeared to be a deserved winner for Bolton at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday only for Clattenburg to pull up Davies for a push on Fulham defender Brede Hangeland.

The decision left Bolton's players and manager Owen Coyle perplexed and Davies feels Clattenburg shows a bias against the Bolton forward.

"Every time he referees us, I don't expect to get anything," said Davies.

"I think he (Hangeland) got under the ball and I just outjumped him. He hit the floor and he knew it was a fair goal.

'When I saw who the referee was I didn't expect to get anything off him. I have always felt there is something personal there."
