Scots Too Strong For Uganda

Scotland recorded a second successive triumph over Uganda in the Twenty20 Kenya Tri-Series with a 56-run win in Gymkhana.

Gavin Hamilton's side ran out comfortable winners against a team that they had beaten in a dramatic super-over earlier in the competition.

Kyle Coetzer and Fraser Watts starred with the bat, the duo both hitting half-centuries to help their team reach 163-4.

Durham batsman Coetzer hit 64 from 53 balls at the top of the order, his innings including three fours and the same number of sixes.
Aggressive Watt

Watts was even more aggressive, needing just 44 deliveries for his 72 runs before being caught off the bowling of Asadu Seiga.

The right-hander smashed eight fours and three maximums as he helped put on a partnership worth 130 for the second wicket following the loss of opener Ryan Watson (17).

Uganda never came remotely close in their reply, new-ball pairing Dewald Nel and Gordon Drummond both picking up two wickets apiece.

Majid Haq also claimed two scalps as the Scots restricted their opponents, who saw only three batsmen reach double figures, to 107-9 from their 20 overs.
