Mohammad Ashraful will captain Bangladesh A in Sunday's three-day warm-up match against England at Chittagong.
The former Test and one-day international skipper will lead a strong side that includes Zunaed Siddique, Raqibul Hassan and promising youngster Shamshur Rahman.
Ashraful, who opted not to take part in the current ODI series with England following a poor run of form, has been one of Bangladesh's best batsmen since making his international debut in 2001.
The 25-year-old averages 22.78 in Test matches and will be hoping to rediscover his finest form ahead of the two-Test series with Andy Flower's men.
Bangladesh A team to face England: Mohammad Ashraful (captain), Zunaed Siddique, Mehrab Hossain Jr, Shamsur Rahman, Raqibul Hassan, Shuvogoto Chowdhury, Shahagir Hossain (WK), Mahbubul Alam, Robiul Islam, Syed Rasel, Dollar Mahmud, Nur Hossain Munna.
